The ALiVE project aims at fostering the media and information literacy (MIL) of citizens and raise awareness of its key importance in today's highly digitalised and globalised society, where we have easy access to vast amounts of information.

The target group is SENIORS (adults over 45 years old), who have fewer learning opportunities to foster skills related to media and information literacy, which are attractive, up-to-date and directly adapted to their needs and shortcomings.

The project will develop a Methodological Framework to foster adult learners' competences, as well as course modules consisting of Learning Stations. In order to provide a quality, different and engaging learning experience, the learning space that will host the Learning Stations will be in the metaverse, where participants will engage in real-time learning thanks to the characteristics of 3D virtual environments.
