Updates in our Modules

We’re continuously working to provide you with the best possible tools for your work — and we consistently incorporate feedback from our community along the way.
Thanks to your input, several of our Moodle tools have not only received language improvements but also new features.

Your feedback is especially valuable to us: we listen closely and translate your suggestions directly into further development and optimization.

You can share your feedback with us in two ways:

• New: via the Dakora+ Community – with discussion forums for exchange, feature requests, and feedback.

From now on, admins can define in the plugin settings whether traines are allowed to import competence grids themselves. When this option is enabled, the import function automatically appears in the ExaComp block within the course.
This makes working with competence grids even more flexible – trainers can quickly and easily integrate their own grids into their courses.

Dakora+ and diggr+ are already available as progressive Web Apps and can be launched directly from the website. With the new Teams integration, we are now bringing Dakora+ and diggr+ directly into Microsoft Teams.

Here’s how it works:

• To use Dakora+ and diggr+ in Teams, an existing Moodle installation is required, which the applications can connect to.
• To test the integration, we provide a demo installation as a ZIP file. This file can be uploaded by administrators to their own Microsoft tenant.
• Once uploaded, Dakora+ and diggr+ can be added as dedicated tabs in Teams.
• The ZIP structure ensures that the Moodle installation is correctly configured as the data source.

This allows trainers and learners to use Dakora+ directly from Teams while maintaining full access to all features and content.

Note: This integration is currently provided for testing and demonstration purposes only and uses a Moodle demo installation supplied by GTN in the background. Please do not enter any personal or confidential data in this test environment and make sure to comply with applicable data protection regulations. Feedback from usage is highly appreciated to help us further improve the integration.

Exabis AI Chat Block

New in the Exabis Family

Artificial Intelligence now directly in Moodle.
The Exabis module ecosystem has grown— and it comes with brains. With the new Exabis AI Chat Block, artificial intelligence officially makes its way into Moodle courses. Developed by GTN Solutions in collaboration with the Laboratory for Advanced Technology in Education at the University of Zagreb, this plugin brings fresh innovation to digital learning environments.

The Exabis AI Chat Block offers features such as:
• Using ChatGPT directly within the course block
• Generating responses based on course content and uploaded files
• Personalized communication through smart placeholders
• Integrating course and grading information via Moodle APIs
• Optionally logging all queries and responses

Whether as a digital study assistant, course guide, or problem solver in chat format, the Exabis AI Chat Block makes Moodle more interactive, intelligent, and future-ready.

The plugin is now available in the official Moodle plugin directory.
