Launch of the Erasmus+ Project DigiCLASS

GTN Solutions Contributes Expertise to European Education Initiative

On March 24-25th 2026, the official launch of the Erasmus+ project DigiCLASS (Digital Competence Levels Assessment in School Education) took place in Paris. The kick-off meeting brought together leading European partners to lay the groundwork for a forward-looking collaboration.

Over the course of these two days, the partners held strategic discussions and workshops to define the key steps for implementing the project. Activities included a hands-on demonstration of the Pix platform, during which its potential applications for assessing digital competencies in education were explored, as well as two targeted workshops to plan the initial implementation phase.

The project runs from March 2026 to October 2028 and aims to develop a common, scalable model for assessing the digital competencies of students in primary and secondary education (including initial vocational training). To this end, the existing Pix platform will be adapted to the linguistic, cultural, and pedagogical requirements of various European countries and implemented in 60 pilot schools in Austria, Spain, and Italy.

GTN Solutions brings its expertise in competency-based instruction as well as in the development and implementation of digital competency models, and specifically supports their integration into school systems and learning platforms.
In this way, DigiCLASS contributes to broader European efforts to harmonize and strengthen digital competencies in education and promotes a unified approach across national borders.
