DigiCLASS Project Website Is Now Live: Strengthening Digital Competences Across Europe

The official website of the European DigiCLASS project is now live! It provides a central platform for exploring the project's activities, objectives and progress in the field of digital competence assessment in European school education.

GTN Solutions is part of the international project consortium, working alongside partner organisations from six EU Member States to improve and harmonise the assessment of digital competences among students aged 12–19 across Europe.

Assessing and Developing Digital Competences

Digital competences are essential for education, employment and active participation in society. But how can these competences be assessed consistently and effectively across different European education systems?
This is where DigiCLASS comes in. Building on the European DigComp framework and the established Pix platform, the project aims to develop a common approach to digital competence assessment that can be adapted to different national education systems.
The project focuses on scientific research, the further development of existing assessment tools and their practical testing in schools. The findings will support educators and educational institutions in assessing digital competences more effectively and fostering their long-term development.

A New Website to Explore the Project

With the launch of the DigiCLASS website, a central information platform is now available for anyone interested in following the project's progress.

The website provides information about the project's objectives, international consortium, ongoing activities and research. As the project progresses, it will also feature resources, findings from pilot activities and policy recommendations.

To make the project accessible to a wider European audience, the website is available in five languages: English, German, French, Italian and Spanish.

Stay Updated on the Latest Developments

In addition to the website, the DigiCLASS newsletter offers an opportunity to stay informed about the project's progress. Subscribers will receive updates every six months, including insights into research findings, pilot activities, new resources and other project developments.
