The CUTIE Project (Competences for Universities using Technology and Institutional Empowerment) is an Erasmus+ partnership dedicated to the strategic development of digital competences for educators in higher education. CUTIE goes beyond the individual level: its goal is to implement digital strategies at the institutional level as well, creating sustainable change in both policy and practice. Seven partner institutions from across the EU work together to maximize the reach and impact of their initiatives.
During the most recent closing meeting, the focus was primarily on progress made in developing educational offerings and digital resources. Of particular note is the course “Digital Leadership in Higher Education”, created by Dr. Iain Mac Labhrainn and Lyndsay Olson. Interested participants can explore the course, enroll, and join live sessions conducted by various partners within the CUTIE project via the platform OpenCourses.ie.
In addition, the CUTIE platform offers a comprehensive catalog of collected resources, including materials, guides, and templates developed throughout the project. Uploading and managing these resources is facilitated through GTN’s technical system, ensuring easy access and distribution.
CUTIE demonstrates how international collaboration can systematically enhance digital competences. The developed resources and platforms remain accessible in the long term, providing educators and institutions with valuable tools to further advance digital education strategies.
More information and resources are available on the CUTIE platform.
